Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program
 
Community Notification from Partnership for Community Action, Inc. 

The Energy Assistance program is opening for the General Public on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 for households in DeKalb, Gwinnett, Newton, Rockdale, and Walton counties.  Appointments will be available beginning at 7am.  Appointments can be made by visiting our website at www.pcaction.org or by calling customer service at 404-537-4300 option 2. We strongly urge you to make your appointment online to avoid long wait times on the phone.

All appointments will be conducted over the phone.  We have added the feature of being able to upload documents via the appointment scheduler.  Documents can only be uploaded after your appointment is made.  
 
DeKalb County Emergency Rent/Mortgage, Utility, and Food Assistance
The IRC in Atlanta's Emergency Assistance Program provides up to 3 months of financial assistance to DeKalb County residents who are having difficulty paying for housing, utilities and/or food due to COVID-19.

You may be eligible for assistance if:
•    You are a DeKalb County resident with a Social Security or Alien number AND
•    You have lost a job or wages after March 27, 2020 and have documentation to show this OR
•    You are behind on rent or mortgage payments and have documentation to show this OR
•    You have tested positive for COVID-19 and have documentation to show this

If you are a City of Atlanta resident, you may be eligible to receive assistance for mortgage payments, past due rent, or utility bills up to $5,000 through the Atlanta COVID-19 Emergency Housing Assistance Program.
